Families in Nature actively strives to be diverse, equitable, and inclusive in all aspects of our work. Our vision is to inspire all families to fall in love with nature while fostering the next generation of conservationists. All individuals and families are invited to participate in our programs regardless of ethnicity, economic status, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, or language. We raise funds to create equitable access to nature and strive to recruit staff, guides, volunteers, board members, and participants that represent the diversity of our entire community.
Our guides lead by example in all of our events by modeling respect for our participants’ backgrounds and individual differences. We believe that nature is for everyone and can be an equalizer shared by people of all backgrounds, together.
All are welcome here!
