Come celebrate Austin Families in Nature’s 5th Anniversary at the Kuhlken family winery, Pedernales Cellars, in Stonewall, TX on Saturday, Oct 12th from 4-10pm. We will have outdoor activities such as archery, kite flying, print making, and shelter building from 4-7pm, followed by dinner after the tasting room closes to the public. Once it gets dark, we will show a movie for the kids on the wall of the winery.

The cost of the event is $30 per adult or child 10+, and $15 per child under 10 years old. Wine will be sold by the bottle or glass inside the tasting room. Vegetarian fajitas and gluten-free options will be available in addition to traditional fajitas, guacamole, queso, rice and beans, plus quesadillas for the little ones. The party will begin at 4pm and will end at 10pm. If you don’t want to drive back to Austin, make a reservation to stay nearby in Fredericksburg or Blanco. This event is open to all AFiN families past and present, as well as to the public, so you are welcome to bring friends, neighbors and grandparents.

Proceeds from this event will be used to create a scholarship fund for families who cannot afford to join, as well as to purchase group gear such as first aid kits, binoculars, and wildlife ID guides for all of the AFiN groups to use. If you cannot attend the event, but would like to contribute, please consider purchasing a ticket or two as a donation.

Use the buttons below to make your reservations before October 10th so that we are sure to have enough food for everyone. Tickets will not be mailed; we will have your reservations at the door. Please print out the receipt you are emailed as your proof of purchase and bring it with you to the event.
